$210 adults, $105 kids (Dinner)
Experience the desert by day and by night! This adventure gives you the best of both worlds: a daytime excursion followed by dinner and the splendor of the stars.
The fun begins with an off-road ride to Font’s Point, a spectacular overlook that we call California’s Grand Canyon, as the fading light of day casts an amber glow over the badlands. Afterwards, we’ll cross a dry lake bed and head to the remote Clark Homestead site at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains.
Around sunset, we’ll enjoy cheese & crackers as well as salsa & chips, followed by a dinner of cold chicken, potato salad and garden salad. (Vegetarian alternatives available upon request.)
As the stars come out, kick back in camp chairs and watch why USA Today called Anza-Borrego Desert State Park a “stargazer’s paradise.”
(Note that this tour is seasonal. If you don’t see it on the online schedule on the date you had in mind, call our office to inquire. We may be able to accommodate your request depending on the schedule and moon phase. We can offer this itinerary year round as a private tour.)
